reporting a bug

Sorry about bothering you again. it looks like i found the cause. it is not only in the edit expense that the issue is happening.
when i enter the amount and change the splitting strategy, the amount stays without an issue. but if i edit the ratios in any of the splitting strategies, and then change the splitting strategy again, the amount goes to ‘0’.

Hi @Thilina Avishka thanks for the bug report. If you change to
Itemizethat is for receipts, and will set the amount to zero for the expense total. If you change to any other split type (equal, percentage, shares, manual, reimburse), it should keep the amount and not set it to zero. This is intended behavior, asItemizeaka receipts have theiramountderived from the subtotal + tax + tip. Since you have no items when you switch to Itemize, the amount gets set to zero explicitly, and you’d lose the amount if you clicked on it IF you came from shares split type, for example. Hope that helps clarify.Thilina Avishka
