Add the (.) to the mobile app
When using the app on my iPhone to add a New expense - Location (The Netherlands), the symbol (.) is not shown, it is replaced by the symbol (,) that causes the app to refuse entering any amount of 0.00, that resulted the user to do extra steps to open the calculator, use the symbol (.) then add it to the amount.
Bulk importing from linked cards/accounts to group
It would be cool to have a feature to automatically add charges from accounts to a group. At the very least bulk importing from linked accounts to a group would be better than nothing. Right now it is great to split with a group for expenses, but with some small changes it could be a multifaceted tool that can also be leveraged for household / individual budgeting.
Auto Categorize?
I’m not sure if I’m just missing something, but having things auto-categorize would be so helpful! Like when I categorize Albertsons as groceries, a pop up asking if I want it to auto-assign Albertsons to grocieries going forward would be awesome
Settle up issue/ request
Please make it so that you can settle with the overall balance. I paid - what I am owed =overall balance. When I paid the overall balance it creates another category and the numbers cancelled out but the groups are still unsettled and it looks like there is another random group. Doesn't make any sense.
Expenses stats
Add stats at the Expenses level. This will aggregate all the groups and only show what I spent. e.g. Would be great to know how much I spent on restaurant across all my groups
Settled outside the app
Hi! Great app :) It would be helpful to have a feature that says "settled outside of this app". For instance, I paid my share of an airbnb before our group getaway but I was the only one who did that - so now my split is messed up on the app. Thanks for listening!
Would be cool to add Tax and Exempt tax
I noticed that have no options for select add tax each items such as foods and clothes.
I tested this app and found a loophole
1. I create two account with a - [email protected] b - [email protected] 2. create test $.5 to a -> b open ios App with a and then soon as venmo opened I just close it. no trasaction made. 3. when I open b it looks like I received money but nothing happened. 4. if its not intergrated api level it will be a bug.
statistics
when looking at the statistics one can enable/disable certain categories. please consider a feature which then deducts this category from "total spent" and shows the sums for only the selected categories. thank you, sauli
One time permanent license

Export expenses across all groups/friends in one CSV file
Currently there is an Export button for each group and each friend, but I’d like to export all the expenses (as seen on the Expenses page) in one file. This should include expenses I was involved in from groups that I have since been removed from. It seems impossible to export these expenses currently, because I can’t navigate to that group’s page.
Show Total
Can you please put the total cost back instead of only showing the split. I’m on the fence about going to self host Spliit or building a replacement web app over the loss of this. Searching statement line items by cost now requires users to divide it by 2 (or whatever) first to find them and ensure they are recorded. Huge loss of quality of life with the loss of this. Also, even paid members cannot search by total amounts either.
Adding Multiple Expenses to Group
Being able to select multiple expenses to add them to a group would make my life so much easier!!!
Placeholder group memebers
For when we’re first setting up a group with multiple people who have not yet joined but already are loading expenses. Need a way to add placeholder people who can then be assigned to those people when they eventually join
See Itemized Receipt Details
Great app so far! Was wondering if it could be possible (or is already and I missed it) to show the line items in a receipt outside of edit mode. Sometimes my group needs a reminder of who got what, or why one person’s share is higher than others. Thanks!
GrapheneOS App Compatibility
Hi, It seems that SplitMyExpenses is not currently compatible with GrapheneOS, even if the Google Play Services & Store are installed. It can still be used through the web app, so it is no rush but having the native app would be nice. For reference, this happens on a Pixel 7a with Android 16 (GrapheneOS Lynx). In an ideal scenario, it would be nice to have it available as an APK or on F-Droid, but I understand if it is out of scope. (I used the same GrapheneOS setup but without the Google Services) Thanks!
Family plan
Rather than having multiple people sign up for different accounts, have an option for a family account that you can invite people. Specifically for couples because then only 1 person has to manage the subscription.
