Enhance expense line item UI for better readability. Left side dedicated to expense amount, expense title, and expense date. Right side dedicated to expense division.

Bradley Bernard: I like the new home for the expense categories!
However, the current UI could be simplified even more for better readability. At a glance, it's difficult to identify the key data that matters. Every time I look at these expenses, I find myself needing to read every single detail on the expense line to understand. It's very tedious.
As a user, I fundamentally care about 3 things when looking over my expenses:
What is the expense
How much was the total expense
How much do I owe
Something to consider/think about!

Jonathan Gratton: Simplification isn't a simple task, unfortunately, it's hard to cater to all while being simple. For example, lots of users are asking to see categories on the expense list, which isn't included in your top 3 items to see. People care/want/value different things!
I'm open to all discussions on UI tweaks to make things more glanceable, simple, and to the point. However, it's a broader discussion than you or I. If you have any specific ideas, feel free to post them and as they get voted up on the list, that will help drive consensus :)
I agree with you that this UI isn't the final form, but as the product grows, there will continue to be more asks and additions. It'll take careful thinking and intentional design choices to make it a far better UI for a list of expenses.
