Adding Income to a Group

I am wondering if there is already a way to do this that I am missing… but would love to see a way to add "income" to a payment group that reduces what everyone owes evenly. The best use case I can think of (which is my use case) would be a couple who splits expenses and receives a sum that they want to put towards reducing the shared expenses all at once.

    There is a reimbursement type, but that is an inverse payment: a user basically is multi paying people. The core concept is that balances are derived from expenses in a ledger, having income is a bit confusing, since it doesn't "come" from someone but purely reduces the debts owed. Not to say it's impossible, but would require a little bit of fixing in the backend to allow for this!
